This policy is part of our Terms of Service and applies to everyone who uploads to or downloads from ShareIt.onl. The service exists for sharing everyday files - Documents, photos, videos, archives and the like. The rules below protect the people you share with, the wider public, and the service itself.
Prohibited content
You may not upload, share, or link to:
- Illegal content of any kind. Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is met with zero tolerance: it is removed immediately and reported to the relevant authorities.
- Copyright-infringing material - Content you do not have the rights to distribute. Rights holders can file a DMCA takedown notice.
- Malware, phishing, or fraud material - Viruses, trojans, ransomware, credential-harvesting pages, scam kits, or files designed to deceive or defraud recipients.
- Doxxing or harassment material - Private personal information published to intimidate, threaten, or expose someone, and content intended to harass.
- Spam distribution - Files or links used for unsolicited bulk messaging or link-scheme abuse.
- Anything else that violates applicable law or the rights of others.
Prohibited behavior
- Bypassing or attempting to bypass upload limits, expiry rules, rate limits, or blocks.
- Automated or bulk abuse of the service - Scripted mass uploads, scraping, or using shares as infrastructure for other systems.
- Reselling or commercially redistributing anonymous storage or transfer capacity.
- Interfering with the operation or security of the service.
How we enforce this
Abuse reports and DMCA notices are reviewed by a human. Depending on severity, enforcement includes one or more of:
- Removal of the offending share and permanent deletion of its files.
- IP blocks on uploaders involved in repeat or serious abuse.
- Account suspension or termination, including termination of registered accounts that repeatedly infringe copyright (our repeat-infringer policy).
- Referral to law enforcement where content or conduct appears criminal; we honor lawful requests from law enforcement.
How to report abuse
If a ShareIt.onl link is hosting anything described above, use the report abuse form - It takes a minute and goes straight into our review queue. You can also email [email protected], a monitored mailbox, with the full share link. For copyright complaints specifically, use the DMCA takedown form.
