The rules for using ShareIt.onl

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and WINNEROO LIMITED, the operator of ShareIt.onl ("we", "us", "the service"). By uploading files, creating share links, downloading shared files, or signing in, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Questions? Email [email protected].

2. The service

ShareIt.onl lets you upload files and share them through temporary links. A share can hold up to 100 files and 3 GB in total - One big file or many together - And every link expires on a schedule you pick - From 1 hour up to 7 days, or 30 days when signed in. Each download extends a link's life by 24 hours. When a link expires it stops working permanently, while the files themselves stay in your account and in your storage allowance until you delete them. Optional features include password protection, one-time links, QR codes, and multi-file ZIP downloads.

Uploading gives you an account even if you never sign up for one: it is created for your browser on your first upload and identified by a cookie on that device. The files in it are yours and are kept for as long as you keep the account. Because that cookie is the only key to an account with no Google identity attached, clearing it, or losing the device, means neither you nor we can reach those files again. Connecting a Google account is what makes an account recoverable, and we recommend it for anything you would be sorry to lose. We may remove an account that has been unreachable for an extended period.

A Google-connected account may claim one permanent username and publish selected account files on its own personal page at a username.shareit.onl address. Files are private unless you explicitly add and mark them public. Publishing keeps the associated share available until you remove or delete it. Signed-in members may post public comments on the page or beneath a published file; comment authors and page owners can remove them. You may protect a personal page or shared folder with a password, but you remain responsible for distributing that password safely. Usernames may not impersonate another person, brand, service, or organization; we reserve infrastructure names and common trademarks and may suspend misleading or abusive pages.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", with no guarantee of uptime, speed, or availability. It is not a backup service: do not use it as your only copy of anything. Public links expire by design; stored files remain until you delete them, close the account, use a one-time link, or we remove them for abuse, legal compliance, or prolonged account abandonment.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) and legally able to enter into this agreement. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind that organization to these terms.

4. Acceptable use

Our Acceptable Use Policy is part of these terms. In short: you may not use ShareIt.onl to store or distribute content that is illegal, infringes intellectual-property rights, contains malware, or harms others, and you may not abuse the service technically (for example by bypassing limits or automating bulk uploads). We may remove any share and block any uploader that violates the policy.

5. Your content and your responsibility

You keep all rights to the files you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, copy, and transmit your files solely as needed to operate the service - That is, to hold them in your account and deliver them to people who open an active share link, until you delete them or they are otherwise removed under these terms. We claim no other rights in your content.

You are solely responsible for the files, personal-page titles, descriptions, usernames, comments, and other material you publish and for having the rights to share them. You are also responsible for who you give your share link (and any password) to. We are not the author or publisher of user content and do not endorse anything shared through the service.

6. Expiry, deletion, and removal

Deleting a file normally moves it to your rubbish bin, where you can restore it for 30 days. Emptying the bin, closing your account, or reaching the end of that restoration period permanently removes the file and it cannot be recovered by us or by you. Files with no account behind them are removed automatically after their link expires, while one-time files are removed after their first successful download; automated cleanup runs every 15 minutes. Separately, we may remove or disable any share at any time, without prior notice, if we believe it violates these terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or the law, or if we receive a valid takedown notice. 7. Accounts

You can share without signing up. Your first upload creates a browser/device account tied to a cookie so the files can appear in My Files on that browser. Connecting Google makes the same account recoverable and available across devices, and unlocks 30-day links and upload-inbox features. Recipients never need an account. You are responsible for activity through your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, and we operate a repeat-infringer policy. You may close your account from My Files or request assistance via [email protected].

8. Free service and future paid plans

The core service is free today. We may introduce optional paid plans in the future (see pricing); if we do, their price and billing terms will be shown clearly before you are ever charged, and our billing, refunds & cancellation policy will apply. Nothing you can do on the site today costs money.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We are not liable for lost or deleted files, expired links, content uploaded by others, service interruptions, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim (which, for the free service, is zero). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Cyprus have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them - Except where the mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence gives you additional rights, which remain unaffected.

If you are a consumer in the European Union and we cannot settle things between us, you may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the current version always lives at this address with its "last updated" date. Material changes will be signposted on the site. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
