- No accounts, no ad profiles - We hold almost no personal data.
- Your share lives at a random, unlisted link that we tell search engines not to index.
Files you upload
Your files are sent to us over an encrypted HTTPS connection and stored on a secure cloud storage provider (an S3-compatible object store) only to make your share link work. They are automatically and permanently deleted when the lifetime you chose (1 hour to 7 days) expires, or immediately after the first download if you choose a one-time link. We do not open, scan for marketing purposes, sell or reuse your files.
What we log
Standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) are kept briefly for security and abuse prevention, then discarded. We count downloads per share; we do not track who downloaded.
No accounts, no profiles
ShareIt.onl has no user accounts. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell personal data - There is essentially none to sell.
Cookies
We use one small, functional cookie to keep the site secure (CSRF protection) and to remember when you have unlocked a password-protected share during your visit. It contains no personal data and is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. We do not set third-party tracking cookies.
