The best way to control a link is to set it up right before you share. shareit.onl is a free, no-account tool, so there is no dashboard where saved links live. Instead, you plan the ending in advance by choosing a short expiry or a one-time link. If you already shared something and need it pulled down fast, you can email our team for an urgent removal.

Plan the ending before you share
You have two strong ways to make a link short-lived from the start:
- Pick a short expiry. Choose the 1-hour option so the link and file disappear quickly on their own.
- Turn on delete after first download. This one-time or "burn" link removes the file the moment it is downloaded once, so it cannot be opened again.
Both options mean you do not have to come back later to clean anything up. The file is permanently deleted on schedule, and there is no backup left behind.

Remember the 24-hour keep-alive: a normal link's life extends each time someone downloads it. A one-time burn link skips that and dies after the first grab, which makes it the tightest control you can set.
What if you already shared the link?
Since there is no account, you cannot log in and press delete. But you still have options:
When you write to [email protected], include the full short link so we can find the file quickly. This is the right channel for anything sensitive, private, or shared by mistake.
When to contact [email protected]
Reach out for urgent removal if:
- You shared a file with the wrong person or group.
- The file holds private or sensitive information.
- A link was posted somewhere public by accident.
- Someone is misusing a link you created.
We take these requests seriously, so do not wait for the timer if the situation is urgent.
A better habit for next time
A little planning saves the scramble later. Before you hit share, ask yourself how private the file is and how fast the other person will open it. Then match the settings to the answer:
- Very sensitive, one recipient? Use delete after first download plus an optional password.
- Time-boxed and quick? Use the 1-hour expiry.
- Shared with a group but still private? Use a short expiry with a password.

Why there is no delete button
No accounts means nothing to sign up for and no personal data to store. The trade-off is that we cannot show you a private list of your past links.
